Beijing Shangdi Experimental School Treble Choir
The choir of the experimental school in Shangdi was founded in July 2000 and has more than a 12 year of history of praciticing musik as a group. After a long period of training, as well as summer and winter vacation together, the students received training in the following songs; “gypsy”, “Forest river”, ”chat polka”, “Blue Danube” and “Jingle Bells of Change”. Moreover a large number of outstanding Chinese and foreign music was learned!
Choir students attended many high-level chorus festivals such as the Chorus Festival in Beijing in which they have won the second prize. Yanli Bao, the vocal choirs counseling teacher, and Huibin Yang, the commanding teacher, do in-depth research before each practice, and develop early elaborated training programs to ensure a good rehearsal. Moreover the school gives the choir a strong support and helps to employ a high national standard. Guideance for the choir is provided by Dapeng Meng and Yunhou Liu, both teacher. in rehearsals, under the supervision of experts, teacher and students learn a lot and benefit from each other. This learning process left us with a valuable asset and raised the level of the choir.
Artistic leader and conductor
Huibing Yang graduated from Harbin Normal University with a Major in vocal music. As a first-grade teacher in a Chinese middle school she is conductor of the Choir in Beijing Shangdi Experimental School. She organized and conducted numerous performances, which have won prices like the National, Municipal and District level awards. She is good at organizing large cultural activities and has achieved many significant high quality tasks. Therefore she got recognitions from professional experts.
