Youth Concert Band Vác

In the Danube river bend, 30 kilometer from the Hungarian capital Budapest is situated Vác town. From here arrives this wind orchestra the Youth Concert Band Vác. The members of the orchestra are secondary and high school students. This band consists of more than 70 members, traveling members 55. The orchestra is member of the Hungarian and Eastern Central European Association of Bands and Ensembles WASBE Affiliate.
In 2009 they got gold qualification concert band category and amusing-show category from the Hungarian Wind Association.
Repertoir: from traditional wind music to light music. They build and maintain good connections with other orchestras in Hungary and abroad too.
They had concerts in Romania /Transilvania/ Slovakia, Germany, Austria and Croatia.

Trumpet teacher int he Béla Bartók Musicschool of Vác since 1980. He was conductor of the Youth Wind Orchestra Szentendre from 1985-1998
