ENSEMBLES 2026

Bærum Pikekor

Bærum Pikekor

Bærum Girls’ Choir is dedicated to fostering vocal artistry and providing young singers with a solid and inspiring musical education. The choir maintains a high artistic standard, and its members work with commitment and discipline to achieve excellent musical results. At the same time, we place great importance on creating a warm, supportive, and enjoyable environment. Many of our singers stay with us for years—drawn by the unique combination of musical challenge and strong social community. The choir is organized into three levels, allowing singers to grow at their own pace: Aspiring Choir – for girls in 2nd–3rd grade: Here, the youngest singers learn the foundations of vocal technique and ensemble singing. Junior Choir – for girls in 4th–6th grade: Junior choristers deepen their skills in voice use, score reading, and polyphonic singing. The oldest juniors may join a supplementary training group that prepares them for admission to the main choir. Main Choir – for singers from 7th grade and up: With additional rehearsals and a more advanced repertoire, the main choir provides a rich and challenging musical experience. The choir proudly performs in the traditional costume of Bærum, honoring local cultural heritage. Bærum Girls’ Choir is affiliated with Ung i Kor (UiK) and receives operational support from the Municipality of Bærum.
