ENSEMBLES 2026
Crofton House School Senior Orchestra

The Crofton House School Orchestra hails from the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1898, Crofton House has a long history of all-girls education that embraces academic rigor and diverse learning experiences that encourage strong female leaders. The Senior Orchestra, primarily made up of string players between the ages of 13 to 18 (grades 8 through 12), is a group of 46 student musicians, many of whom perform in other community orchestras and compete in local, national and international festivals and competitions. The CHS Orchestra most recently received a Gold standing in both the provincial Kiwanis Music Festival (British Columbia, Canada) and MusicFest Canada, the Nationals. The ensemble is delighted to be visiting Vienna, and to be learning from other visiting orchestras, directors and clinicians.
