ENSEMBLES 2026

La Salle College Symphony Orchestra

La Salle College Symphony Orchestra

Established in 2003, the La Salle College Symphony Orchestra has distinguished itself as one of Hong Kong's premier student orchestras. Since its inception, it has evolved from a 20-member ensemble into a dynamic collective of over 90 musicians, united by a commitment to excellence and the pursuit of perfection. The Orchestra creates a supportive environment where talented musicians share insights and craft beautiful harmonies. During regular rehearsals and sectionals, senior students mentor their junior peers, fostering collaboration and personal growth. Under the direction of our conductor, Mr Kelvin Ngai, the Symphony Orchestra has celebrated exceptional success in recent years. We are proud to have received Gold Prizes at the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and to have been honoured as the winner in the Senior Orchestra Class at the 77th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival.
