ENSEMBLES 2026
La Salle College String Orchestra

As the newest musical ensemble at La Salle College, the String Orchestra has quickly emerged as a shining star within the school's music community. Comprised of over 40 exceptional string players selected through auditions at the start of the school year, the orchestra showcases the finest talent from across the institution. Under the direction of conductor and alumnus Mr John Sit, the String Orchestra has made remarkable progress. Thanks to the dedication of its members and Mr Sit's leadership, the orchestra has participated in numerous concerts and competitions. We are proud to have achieved Gold Prizes at the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and to have been awarded first place in the Senior String Orchestra Class at the 78th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival in 2026.
