The Camberwell Grammar School European Tour ensemble is dedicated to the exploration of a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire, showcasing the skills and creativity of its members. Under the guidance of Lisa Grosman, the Head of Strings at the school, this ensemble provides an opportunity for young musicians to engage in collaborative music-making, honing both their individual and collective skills. Beyond the stage, this group plays a vital role in the broader school community, fostering a love of music and the arts. The ensemble’s performances are a source of pride for the school, offering students valuable performance experience and contributing to the vibrant musical culture at Camberwell Grammar School.

Lisa Grosman is a highly accomplished musician and educator with a wealth of experience in both performance and teaching. For 15 years, she was a member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra, performing extensively across Europe, America, and Asia. She collaborated with renowned ensembles such as the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and was the solo violist for the Crash Ensemble, Ireland’s leading contemporary music group. Currently based in Australia, she is now the Head of Strings at Camberwell Grammar School, where she oversees the development of the school's string program. She was also the Director of the Viola Programme at Monash University and has taught at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Queensland, the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, and the Melbourne Conservatorium. As a performer, Lisa has played with renowned groups such as the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Australian World Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. She is also a sought-after chamber musician and teacher, giving masterclasses at international festivals in New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, and Australia.
