ENSEMBLES 2025

Die Telemänner – Jugend-Barockorchester

Die Telemänner – Jugend-Barockorchester

The string ensemble „Die Telemänner“ was founded in 2008 by its current conductor Steffi Bade-Bräuning. Having a passion for baroque and modern music, they won several prizes at international competitions, such as a the first prize at the 2018 Summa Cum Laude Festival in Vienna as well as the second prize (predicate: "very good") at the State Orchestra Competition Baden-Württemberg. International concert tours took the ensemble to Budapest, Helsinki, New York City, St. Louis and Shanghai. In 2021, the young ensemble worked with Aleksey Igudesman in Vienna and was invited to perform at the Expo 2021 in Dubai. Many of our alumni are national winners of individual music competitions, professional musicians or music teachers today. Others still practice the most wonderful hobby. The Telemänner's video "Rock vs Klassik" was viewed over 20.000 times.
