ENSEMBLES 2026
Tiffany Lau Vocal Performance Academy Choir

Tiffany Lau Vocal Performance Academy Choir (TLVPA) was founded in 2015 to nurture young vocal talents through choral training and international exchange. The programme gives young singers a platform to develop artistic skills, build confidence, and gain a global perspective. To support young musicians from low-income families, a sister non-profit organization, The Voice of the Future, was founded in 2021, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder artistic growth.
The choir marked a milestone in 2023 with its first UK-tour. Each year, participants aged 8 to 18 are selected through auditions and receive vocal coaching and ensemble training from experienced educators. Led by soprano Tiffany Lau, the choir performs traditional and contemporary repertoire, combining local heritage with international influences.
Cultural exchange is central to the programme. Through international festivals, competitions, and cross-border performances, the choir acts as a cultural ambassador, presenting Hong Kong’s choral artistry abroad. TLVPA also promotes original compositions and works with composers such as Professor Chan Kai-yeung to integrate Cantonese and Chinese elements into performances.
TLVPA plans to expand exchange opportunities through partnerships with overseas choirs, projects with international ensembles, and performances in cultural hubs. By strengthening its global network, TLVPA aims to inspire young vocal artists and connect diverse musical traditions.
Beyond musical excellence, TLVPA supports personal growth, teamwork, and leadership development. By offering high-quality training at an accessible cost, the programme ensures that young musicians from all backgrounds benefit from advanced artistic education. Through artistic excellence and cross-cultural collaboration, TLVPA uses music to connect cultures and communities worldwide.
