Holstebro Musikskoles Ungdomssymfoniorkester

Holstebro Musikskoles Ungdomssymfoniorkester

Holstebro Music School Youth Symphony Orchestra is a relatively new orchestra, founded in 2022, for children and young people aged approximately 10–16. The orchestra combines a strong passion for music with a clear focus on social cohesion. Concerts, tours, and the opportunity to meet and listen to other musicians are central elements of the orchestra’s activities. The repertoire spans a wide range, from classical to rhythmic music. At the orchestra’s concerts, audiences can experience works such as Aladdin Suite by the Danish composer Carl Nielsen, Can-Can by Jacques Offenbach, and Highlights from Harry Potter by John Williams. The orchestra has been looking forward to participating in the festival for several years and is excited to become part of an international musical community with participants from near and far. The orchestra is conducted by Anders Christensen.
