Het Britten Jeugd Strijkorkest is a vibrant youth string orchestra founded to nurture and elevate the next generation of string players from the Eastern Netherlands. Under the inspiring direction of Loes Visser, young musicians develop their skills with quality, warmth, passion, and joy and perform in concerts, make recordings, and embark on exciting tours. The orchestra has earned international recognition—winning prestigious awards and performing at notable events—and regularly collaborates with esteemed soloists and conservatories.

Loes Visser loves to challenge and inspire the orchestra while working in an atmosphere of friendship, responsibility and devotion to music. She invites her musicians to realise their musical dreams together, always persuing a high musical standard. Her musical programmes exhale vision and creativity and invite the audience to listen. Her mission: to bring out the best in musicians with great love for the music and its listeners!
