Marching Stars Marching Band

Marching Stars is a youth marching band established by Todor Tsachev in 2011. It is distinguished by its beautiful uniforms, brilliant sound, choreography during performances and American style drumline. Due to the unique solemnity it brings to each event, the band participates in the celebration of various local and national holidays, festivals and charity initiatives in Bulgaria and abroad. The youthful spirit, the colors and the captivating music performed by youths always strongly impress and move the audience. Marching Stars gained national fame after participating in the television show Bulgaria’s Got Talent. There it reached the semi-final, which was broadcast live and brought pride and incredible experiences to the children. The band is looking forward to their participation in Summa Cum Laude Festival and their performance at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. This will be a memorable event for Bulgarian musical culture.

Todor Tsachev

Conductor

Todor Tsachev is a Bulgarian musician, educator, and cultural leader, best known as the founder and director of the first American-style marching band in Bulgaria. Through his visionary work with Marching Stars Marching Band, he has become one of the leading figures in the development of modern marching arts and youth cultural activities in the country.

He graduated from the National School of Music and later from the National Academy of Music, specializing in clarinet and saxophone. Throughout his professional career, he has worked actively in the field of music and culture, with a strong focus on children and youth development through the arts.

Tsachev has been a member of the orchestra of the National Musical Theatre as well as the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band, where he performed alongside some of Bulgaria’s most respected musicians. In addition to his performing career, he has also worked as a music teacher, dedicating himself to inspiring and educating young talents.

Over the years, his work and achievements have been widely recognized by Bulgarian media, which have produced numerous reports, interviews, and documentary features about his activities and cultural impact. He has received multiple awards and distinctions from non-governmental organizations and state institutions for his contribution to culture, education, and youth engagement.

Under his leadership, Marching Stars has achieved significant national and international success, gaining recognition not only for its musical and visual performances, but also for its important social role in providing opportunities, discipline, teamwork, and artistic inspiration for young people in Bulgaria.
