ENSEMBLES 2024

Raimondi College Wind Orchestra

Raimondi College Wind Orchestra

Raimondi College Wind Orchestra (RCWO) was restructured in 2006. The aim of the orchestra is to arouse students’ enthusiasm for music as well as to build up confidence and team spirit among members. In the past years, RCWO has successfully cultivated lots of great young musicians. The orchestra is currently composed of students ranging from Secondary 1 to Secondary 6, who are mostly elected from the ‘Instrumental Training Program’ offered by the school. The orchestra is now led by the music teacher Ms. Cecilia Chan, and the conductor, Mr. Lee Ka Yiu. Since the orchestra’s reconstitution, RCWO has been invited to perform in various school events. It has also been actively participating in different competitions such as the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, Winter Band Festival as well as the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows Symphonic Band Contest, and has received heartening results.
