ENSEMBLES 2025
Christian Alliance International School Choir

Singing is a cherished part of life at Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), where music fosters community and worship. This year is particularly exciting as CAIS joins the SCL for the first time! As an international school in Hong Kong, CAIS is proud to have students and staff from over 26 different nationalities. We celebrate that each student is wonderfully and uniquely made in the image of God. The vibrant choral program in school features three choirs: the Junior Choir (Grades 1-3), the Senior Choir (Grades 4-6), and the High School Choir (Grades 7-12). These ensembles provide students with opportunities to express their musical talents and serve God through music weekly. The Vienna Tour Choir, composed of passionate singers from all three choirs in Grades 3 to 10, is especially excited to embark on this new adventure as they prepare to perform and connect with choir enthusiasts worldwide. Students look forward to building friendships, collaborating with fellow music lovers, and creating unforgettable performances on an international stage. With a diverse repertoire that includes traditional hymns, contemporary Christian songs, and multicultural pieces, the choirs embody CAIS's dedication to fostering unity and inspiring faith. Notably, the Choir showcase compositions by our very own Hong Kong composer, Mr. Ng Cheuk Yin, who excels in blending Western and Eastern elements, enriching the program with soulful works in Mandarin and dynamic pieces in Cantonese, alongside other selections from Estonian and American composers in various languages. Driven by their passion for music and the opportunities presented by joining the SCL, the CAIS Choristers are eager to enhance the school’s cultural landscape and create lasting memories on this exciting journey together!
