Taipei Fuhsing Private School Children's Choirs

Taipei Fuhsing Private School is a school that places great emphasis on Art and Humanity. Aiming at promoting chorus education, and everyone can be part of the music and singing concept, Fuhsing Elementary School Choir is composed of students from the fifth and sixth grades (aged 10-11 years old) who are passionate about music, especially singing. With the strong support from the school as well as the outstanding trial records, the chorus has become a solid tradition in our school. Fuhsing Elementary School Choir was invited to perform at Angel Heart Social Welfare Foundation Fund Raising Event (2011), the Presidential Office Building (2011), National Concert Hall (2013), Taipei City Hall (2015) and was Co-performing with Taipei Wind Orchestra & Symphonic Band (2019) and C.Y.C. Wind Orchestra (2020) in National Concert Hall. In addition to the domestic engagement, Fuhsing Elementary School Choir also has quite a few overseas exchange experiences with well reputable groups, we co-performed with Kammerchor Stuttgart, Germany in the 2018 Taipei International Choir Festival and was invited to jointly perform with Wiener Sängerknaben (WSK) in Austria, 2019.

Fuhsing Elementary School Choir has excelled and achieved consecutively outstanding awards year over year. We have been awarded in the Highest Distinction Segment in both Taipei City and National Annual Choir Competition in 2016 / 2017/ 2018 / 2019 / 2020 / 2021. We have also won 1st place in the Highest Distinction segment in Taipei Annual Choir Competition in 2022 and will join the National Competition in Mar. 2023. In addition to the routine City and National competitions, Fuhsing Elementary School Choir has also been awarded Gold Medal from Taipei International Choir Competition in both 2021 (Contemporary Music Group) and 2022 (Elementary Student Group).

We wish to develop our students for mixed-age collaboration, engage more and more people who have the same interest in singing to build their confidence and spread love and a positive spirit of music to their families and friends through the chorus. Furthermore, we also expect to be the ambassador who can share and promote classical songs and make singing and music part of our life, and leave a soundtrack and unforgettable memories of their childhood in Fuhsing.

Ms.Chuang has led Fuhsing Elementary School Choir to win many national and international titles, including the Highest Distinction Segment in both Taipei City and National Annual Choir Competition in 2016 / 2017/ 2018 / 2019 / 2020 / 2021. In addition to the routine City and National competitions, Ms.Chuang and Fuhsing Elementary School Choir has also been awarded Gold Medal from Taipei International Choir Competition in both 2021 (Contemporary Music Group) and 2022 (Elementary Student Group).
