Dunhua Junior High School String Orchestra

 

In 2007, Ms. Chen Zhengling, the president of the parents, established the Dunhua Junior High School String Orchestra. With the full support of the previous principals and the president of the parents, it won the championship of the Taipei East District Music Competition for 11 consecutive years, entered the national competition for 15 consecutive years, and won several special awards. Excellent results. Since 2007, he has led the Taipei City Guangfu Elementary School String Orchestra and Dunhua Elementary School String Orchestra to participate in the Taipei City Music Competition, and won the first place in Taipei City for 14 consecutive years.
At the age of six, Fang Xingqi was first taught to play the cello. He was taught by Lin Zhaofu, Liao Meiying, Lin Xiusan, and Xiong Shilan. In 1984 and 1985, he won the first place in the youth group of the Taipei County Music Competition, and in 1987 the double champion of cello and chamber music in the youth group of the Taiwan Music Competition Graduated from the music class of Guangren Middle School in 1988; entered the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music in 1990, and studied with German cellist Ulrich Boeckheler; entered the Music Department of Florida International State University with a full scholarship in 1993, and taught at the Paris Conservatory of Music with Russian cellist Mark Drobinsky He studied with Boston University performer Andres Diaz and Miami String Quartet cello Keith Robinson, and studied chamber music with Diaz Trio and Miami String Quartet; in July 1992, he cooperated with internationally renowned pianist Kong Xiangdong; in May 1995, he cooperated with the Florida State University for the first time Vivadi Cello Concerto with the International State University Orchestra; 1996 concert hall debut recital with pianist Gregory Taylor at Wertheim Performing Arts Center Rectital Hall, the newest concert hall in Florida Graduated from the music class of Guangren Middle School in 1988; entered the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music in 1990, and studied under the German cellist Ulrich Bockheller; entered the Music Department of Florida International State University with a full scholarship in 1993, and taught at the Paris Conservatory of Music. Currently serving as the first violin member of the Taiwan Music Troupe, and teaching at Fu Jen Catholic University, Truth University, Taipei Christian College, and the Dunhua Elementary School and Dunhua Elementary School String Orchestra in Taipei
Master of Music Department of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), taught by Jewish violinist Mark Kaplan. After returning to China, he obtained a Ph.D. degree from Taiwan Normal University, under the tutelage of Professor Liao Jiahong. He has performed in the United States, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. Since 2002, he has been invited to perform concertos with Century, Sunshine, Lanyang, and New Arts Symphony Orchestras. Served as the principal and voice chief of the New Taipei City Symphony Orchestra, the Sound of Water Orchestra, the General Artists Orchestra, the Century Symphony Orchestra, and the Sunshine Taipei Symphony Orchestra
