Shenzhen Cui Yuan Middle School
Established in 1980s, we have made unremitting efforts on the road and got many honors. Now we are one of the best among all secondary school student choruses in Shenzhen. The Schoolboy Chorus, directed by Miss Liu, now is the only male chorus among all student choruses in Shenzhen. Since the first day it was founded, the chorus was successful in numerous activities and competitions with its masculinity and professional standards. And our Mixed Chorus also made some achievements with its excellent artistic touch and became one of the best secondary student choirs in Shenzhen. In the 8th Interscholastic Chorus Artistic Festival held in 2008, the Mixed Chorus got the first place, and their program also got the golden prize. Activities and Awards in Recent Three Years:
1. The Schoolboy Chorus went to Hong Kong and took part in “Celebration of 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong Change-over.”
2. Mixed Chorus gave performance in the 19th Campus Art Festival and got Special Award.
3. Mixed Chorus gave performance in the 20th Campus Art Festival and got Special Award.
4. Mixed Chorus got first prize (the champion) in “Singing for Honesty and Uprightness” Artistic Competition in Luohu District, Shenzhen City.
5. Mixed Chorus got first prize (the champion) in the 3rd Interscholastic Artistic Performance Season & the 8th Interscholastic Chrous Artistic Festival in Luhou District.
6. Mixed Chorus got first prize (the second place) in the 3rd Interscholastic Artistic Performance Season & the 8th Interscholastic Chorus Artistic Festival in Luohu District.
7. The Mixed Chorus got first prize (the champion) in the 3rd Interscholastic Artistic Performance Season & the 8th Interscholastic Chorus Artistic Festival in Shenzhen City.
8. Mixed Chorus got first prize in the 3th Interscholastic Artistic Performance Season & the 8th Interscholastic Chorus Artistic Festival in Shenzhen City.
9. Mixed Chorus participated in Civil Literature & Art Joint Performance (Campus Special Performance) held by Shenzhen Education Bureau and celebrated the 30th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up.
10. Mixed Chorus gave performance in citizen concert, “30 Classical Songs for the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up”, held by Shenzhen Business Newspaper.
