Beijing juvenile Gold -sail Symphony Orchestra the only Symphony Orchestra for primary school students in Beijing which sponsored by Beijing Education Committee led Education Committee of Haidian District and managed by Beijing Zhongguancun Second primary School. Its members all came from Zhongguancun Second primary School and averaged 10 years old. Since it was founded in February of 1995,Beijing juvenile Gold-sail Symphony Orchestra has gone through 10 years Under the kind concems of leaders and the particular direction of musicians,with-out betraying the trust of parents and teachers members of Beijing juvenile Gold-sail Symphony Orchestra not only leamed general musical knowledge and perfor-mance skills comprehensively, but also through practice and performance, edified sentiment erected self-confidence, developed intelligence and became the model of studying with special skill, developing all around the image of the imple-mentation of quality education in Zhongguancun Second primary school.
During the past 10 years, Beijing juvenile Gold-sail Symphony Orchestra contin-ued to develop its art leves, and won many first prizes in students' art festivals of Haidian District Beijing and China respectively The orchestra represented Haidian District and Beijing time after time to exchange culture and art with students'art groups inside and outside of China such as South Korea, North Korea, U.A.S, France, Macao Hongkong, Shenzhen and tianjin .the orchestra also took part in big art performances of Beijing and China many times, and exhibited good images of the capital youth.
Beijing juvenile Gold-sail Symphony Orchestra laid the foundations for all children's life. In the past 10 years, the symphony orchestra cultivated thousands of excellent primary school graduates,90% of whom entered famous high-level middle schools, and most became main members in symphony orchestras and excellent students in these schools.
